"Democracy in America"
(Vol.1) 631 pages;(Vol.2) 480 pages, Mass Market Paperback; Folio

The Past is a Foreign Country ; plus ça change
Amazing book on the origins of America as a people and country. The GOAT. Have been looking for a copy in French for years, this one is the full set of 2 books and a good print. The diacritics (accents) are a little small so sometimes I have to bring the book closer, but a native/truly fluent French speaker probably would infer the correct ones without having to see the diacritic direction fully
