Charlie et la chocolaterie

Love this book - Charlie et la chocolaterie by Roald Dahl! I have an intermediate level in French and with my level of knowledge of French, I feel this book has been well translated. I'm looking forward to purchasing more books from French Books Online. Books were packaged and shipped quickly. They arrived in mint condition!

A Good Translation

A nice translation of "Charlie and the Chocolate factory," will engage young francophone readers as they follow Charlie through his adventure. Alas, the best pun in the book is lost in translation: "Les bonbons carrés qui ont l'air d'être ronds" is not quite what is meant by "Square Candies that Look Round" and might confuse the reader a little. Mature readers who are just learning French will find this book easy and fun to read. I found it hard to put down. (At my age-- really!)
