A good page turner

Surface was selected to read by the cercle littéraire at the Alliance Française de Tucson. Its a well written polaire whose author relies on his years of experience with the police force. Its a good read for someone whose French is at a solid intermediate level or above. The story moves along fast and provides a good contrast between life in Paris and in the rural Aveyron. As with most books of this type, the mystery is completely revealed with its twists and turns in the last 50 pages.
