This is the 2nd book I chose to help myself learn the French language. Both are from the Mon Imagier series of baby books, and both have been very helpful and encouraging. In this fun, colorful book I learned some new words (e.g. les cailloux / la feuille) and phrases dealing with gardening, and I found some helpful reinforcement of some words I've already learned (like oiseau, larbre). I'll probably be reliant on baby/board books for a while, so I was glad to see there are something like 3 dozen French language kids books in this series. The Mon Imagier books are deliberately simple/not overhwhelming, and I continue to believe they're a great resourse for babies, children and even adults who want to enjoy learning the French language. I'm sure I'll read more!

Mon imagier du jardin

Another great board book in the series! This has some repeats from the board book "Mon imagier des petits betes" so if you have that one you may want to skip it. If you're looking to add to your board books with movable tabs so you have some variety while reading to an infant, this is definitely a good addition. Thick pages, holds up well.
