Dans la forêt, un petit éléphant est né. Il s'appelle Babar. Sa maman le regarde grandir tendrement jusqu'au jour terrible où un chasseur la tue! Babar se réfugie alors en ville où il est recueilli pas une très gentille vieille dame. Pourtant, Babar a envie de revoir sa famille et sa forêt. François Morel, conteur merveilleux, nous fait revivre intensément les aventures de Babar. La musique de Poulenc, finement orchestrée par Jean Françaix, illustre avec sensibilité ce grand classique de la littérature enfantine.

Great audiobook!
This is a great audiobook. My 6 year old loves to listen to this CD in the car & follows along with the book. I like the musical special effects, so to speak--they bring the story to life. I just wish they had more CDs like this with the other Babar titles. Worthwhile purchase!
